Fire features a warm wash of saturated reds, oranges and ambers never before seen from LEDs or gels. Ice provides, in one fixture, a palette of deep indigo, blue, cyan, green (and a touch of red) - the gamut of blue washes that designers seek for their lighting plots. Integral to the new Selador Vivid lineup, Fire and Ice offer these rich, lush colours while equalling or exceeding the brightness performance of conventional tungsten PAR fixtures and saving dramatically on electricity.
In a typical colour application, Fire and Ice fixtures produce more light and consume less than 70 watts of power compared to their gelled tungsten counterparts at 575 watts. Changes in LED technology have also prompted ETC to upgrade its popula

Directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer and featuring music by multi-Grammy Award winning punk trio Green Day, the new rock tuner takes the St. James Theatre beginning 24 March, 2010. Opening night is set for 20 April.
American Idiot follows the journey of a new generation of young Americans as they struggle to find meaning in a post 9/11 world, lived through Green Day's score. The musical includes every song from the album American Idiot as well as several songs from the band's 21st Century Breakdown.
Mayer leads a creative team that includes scenic design by Tony nominee Christine Jones, video and projection design by Darrel Maloney and lighting design by Kevin Adams.
The set is fed by 15 Hippotizer HD V3
There are additions to MicW's E, N and G ranges - that is, respectively the company's entry-level, nickel-diaphragm, and gold-diaphragm mic ranges - including some repurposed versions of previously released mics, in new physical formats for different applications. For example, the new HN151 and BN151 are handheld and desktop versions of the existing 'bottle-shaped' N151 nickel-diaphragm wide cardioid, designed for vocal miking and acoustic guitar. The new desktop version, the BN151, is designed to be used in broadcast and conference audio applications, in courtrooms or for teleconferencing.

The Eklipsa array is available in both a 12" bi-amped version and a 15" bi-amped version. Both of these arrays boast Adamson's Advanced Cone Architecture together with Adamson's High Frequency Wave Shaping technology.
Both of Adamson's proprietary, ND12, 12" neodymium low-mid transducer and ND15, 15" neodymium low-mid transducer, feature a progressive Kevlar cone geometry that reduces modal behaviour, providing an improved and linearized pass-band throughout the vocal range.
The High Frequency Wave Shaping sound chambers insure a uniform wave front that does not interfere with the adjacent enclosures in the array. Each waveguide is loaded with a 4" diaphragm neodymium co
D.J.Willrich (DJW) was subcontracted by the lead contractor Beck Interior, to provide a full Medialon integrated system in Centre of the Cell. DJW also worked closely with the project designer, Land Design Studio.
In Centre of the Cell, visitors are immersed in a full audiovisual experience throughout five different 'spaces', or scenes. Being the main A/V show and media controller of the installation, Medialon is in charge of the set up of each of these scenes along with their timings. The Medialon system remotely controls the power up and down of all the A/V devices installed in t
Over 13,000 delegates from 186 countries participated in the meetings, which were covered by 2,000 media representatives and broadcast live by France 24 and BBC Television. The Convention Centre is designed for versatility, with a 46,000sq.ft exhibit hall, 9,000sq.ft ballroom and numerous other meeting areas. This same versatility also presented the biggest challenges in creating an audio system suitable for the space, explains Daniel Rohrer of Sage Technology Solutions in Mt. Joy, PA.
"Aside from addressing the vast differences in the architecture of each different space, we also faced issues of scheduling and coordinating the various phases of the project, building around the historical

The corresponding law should be effective by June of this year. This new law will result in the Russian lighting industry's escalated adaptation to the new conditions. Only one factory in Russia currently manufactures light-emitting diodes. The production capacity (about 10% of the requirements) obviously does not support wide-range coverage of the industry and the population with LED lighting.
This topic will be featured during the 4 LED Forum Moscow, which will take place within the scope of the Interlight Moscow on 10-11 November 2010 at the Expocentre Fairgrounds.

"The client, C2, were absolutely blown away by the Beam 700s," said Herman Wessels from MGG. "He said it was the best lighting he had seen in nine years at Potch."
Wessels rigged all the lighting fixtures on trussing. Opting for a theatrical LX bar, he incorporated a box truss with two loose trusses hung on either side. He, along with crew Deon Kriel and Kevin Rieck, used Secureload slings and steels for safety.
The six Robe 700 Spots, six Robe 700 Washes and six Robe 700 Beams were rigged
