Germany - Record numbers visited the Ayrton stand to see the new products and witness the new lightshow populated by Ayrton’s latest fixtures.

Germany - Portman Lights, the Polish manufacturer of decorative stage lighting, has just released its newest product at Prolight+Sound 2019.
The P1 mini LED is suitable for TV and live events. The fixture exhibits a tungsten look and retro style to match Portman Lights’ existing product line, but is a fully LED product. Arranged in the same configuration and housing as the original P1 Retro Lamp, P1 mini LED combines two layers of light sources: a 1800K linear filament and an RGBW glow that adds colour and enhances the creative possibilities of the new fixture.

Germany - MDG celebrated Prolight+Sound 2019 in Frankfurt with the first presentation in the country of its IP55-rated WPE Series of fog and haze generators. USA - At this week’s NAB Show in Las Vegas, Genelec is demonstrating a selection of its active monitors in an immersive 7.1.4 Atmos configuration.
The system is composed of S360A Smart Active Monitors™ (L-C-R), 8341A’s (side and rear), 8331A’s (overheads), and 7382A and 7360A subwoofers (sub and bass management). These models will be used to demonstrate monitoring solutions for immersive mixing for music and post in Atmos.

France - PlugFest 2019, the event for lighting connectivity, was recently held in Lille, France for the first time. The event, which sold out well in advance, was celebrated by attendees and organisers alike for its productive programme and thriving atmosphere.
The annual event aims to improve the connectivity of lighting products and provides a unique opportunity for manufacturers to test the interoperability of their products. The move to mainland Europe enabled even more professionals from across the continent to convene and collaborate.

Ireland - The Audio Engineering Society’s 146th International Pro Audio Convention in Dublin, Ireland drew to a close on 23 March, wrapping up four days of audio science and education that drew attendees from 47 countries.
“It was a pleasure to bring the AES convention to Dublin for the very first time,” commented convention co-chair and Dublin resident Enda Bates, “and an excellent way to kick off the formation of the new AES Ireland regional section in style. The new office will provide production and technical personnel, corporate event crew, stage and production crew, general and site crew and plant operators, along with its popular crew man and van service.
