A friend to all, Dan Riley has been in the industry for over 30 years and was one of the first people in South Africa to offer sales and support for 'Rank Strand' as it was known. He has been involved with a list of prominent theatre installations and the owners of many rental companies purchased their very first lighting equipment from him.

South Afrfica - Keith Pugin has joined the team at DWR Distribution where he will assist with Prolyte, manufacturing, sales, installations and Prolyft motors.

Seven years ago, Pugin joined Electrosonic SA. He worked in the systems department and did lighting installations including the manufacture and design of lighting bars, custom steelwork and motor controllers. He became a product manager for CM Lodestar & Litec Trussing, providing sales and technical support.

Schalk's introduction to lighting came when he was appointed as co-resident DJ at Bourbon Street, a nightclub in Boksburg; he was known as DJ Shabz.
