The ceremony was held at London's O2 Brixton Academy, and featured live performances by The Vaccines, Run the Jewels, award-winners Royal Blood and Charli XCX, and the recipients of the 'Godlike Genius' award, Suede.

XL Video project manager Paul Wood worked with Reality's Paul Corrick and vision director Matt Askem to specify the multi-camera, multi screen set-up. This is the eighth consecutive year XL Video has supplied the awards.

Upstage centre, a 35sq.m 16:9 screen formed from XL's ROE MC-7T LED Screen was flown, and 25m2 of XL's ROE MC-18 Hybrid LED Screen was used for an additional square LED surface flown to the left of the stage and 6 portrait banner screens arranged around the main screen.

UK - XL Video are supplying a creative video package, including segmented LED screens and multi-channel camera system, for Ben Howard as he steps up to UK and European arenas on his I Forget Where We Were tour.

The show, designed by Owen Tozer alongside Andy Rowe features a cinematic video look thanks to content commissioned and created by Alan 'Willy' Williams.

For this tour, which includes three nights at London's Alexandra Palace, the screen design includes a central LED screen 10.8m wide x 6m high, flanked by three columns of LED either side, each measuring 1.2m wide x 6.6 m high.

To create this arrangement, XL Video have supplied their ROE Visual MC-18T LED, packaged in a combination of their custom touring frames in both full 4-tile and half 2-tile versions. The new half-touring frames allow show designers even greater flexibility when creating their screen set-ups.

USA - With spectacular staging, big-screen displays, theatrical lighting, all-encompassing sound and close to 20,000 spectators at every event, this year's Passion Conference - Passion 2015 - looked more like a major rock concert than a religious event. But the Passion 2015 event is actually three full days of music, inspirational speeches, video, lights and stagecraft designed to bring 18 to 25 year olds closer to Jesus Christ.

An annual event since 1997, the Passion Tour has grown exponentially, with this year's conference presenting three separate events this winter to sold-out crowds at Philips Arena in Atlanta over the course of two weekends, and the Toyota Centre in Houston. The Houston event was also streamed over the Internet, allowing roughly 40,000 more viewers to virtually attend this high profile, influential Christian event.

UK - XL Video is sharing in the runaway success of supergroup McBusted, an energetic fusion of two of the most popular pop-punk-rock bands from the early noughties - McFly and Busted - which is delighting generations of both original and new fans, all equally exuberant, on their latest UK arena tour.

The show's design and set concept is a non-stop, high-octane narrative set in a classic 1980s arcade games machine, which was the brainchild of artistic director Paul Caslin. He's known both bands for around 10 years and has a background in video and filmic art, so visuals and moving image were always going to be prominent in the aesthetic, which also includes snippets inspired by renowned cult movies of the 1980s and 1990s like Wayne's World, Back To The Future, The Mighty Ducks - the formative era in which they all grew up.

UK - Working with their client, Under The Radar, XL Video supplied outdoor LED screens and a multi-channel camera system for the naming of P&O Cruises' newest luxury ship, Britannia.

The ship, which is over 300 metres long, was officially named at a traditional ceremony in Southampton.

In order to ensure the visiting dignitaries had an excellent view of proceedings, XL Video supplied a 7m x 4m Lighthouse R7 outdoor LED screen.

XL Video also supplied five Sony HXC-100 HD cameras and 2 Bradley CamBall 2 robocams situated around the port location.

The cameras covered all angles of the luxury ship, which bears a stylized Union Jack on its bow, as well as close-ups of the podium from which the traditional bottle of Wiston Estate British sparkling wine was launched to name the ship.

USA - Video equipment rental company Pete's Big TVs provided Florida's Palm Beach Opera and its scenic designer with their first LED video wall experience. It was also the world premiere for the opera's show, Enemies, A Love Story, held in February at the Kravis Centre for the Performing Arts.

Pete's Big TVs' tech Nick Faubion worked with the 259 GTek 15mm tiles, creating a 600sq.ft video wall at 37 tiles wide by seven tiles high. An MBox media server distributed the content which included scenic video clips and opera text - though the show was sung in English. S+H was contacted by the event's organiser Kate Nesbitt, who was recommended to the Ilfracombe, Devon based company by colleagues. It was the first year that Kate had organised the Awards, started in 2011 by the Plymouth Herald newspaper.
