The concept of using audio-over-IP technology means that nearly any audio signal can be converted for distribution over a standard Cat5e/6/7 cable infrastructure via LAN, WAN or Web, allowing for extended use over large properties and sites. The 914075E Net Streamer eliminates the risk of losing sound quality and content when sending audio over long distances.
The 914075E Net Streamer works by taking standard audio sources inputs and converting them from an analogue signal to IP. These IP signals are then sent to a NetSpeaker Server, which controls signal/zones that have a NetSpeaker or NetSpeaker Lite installed, which then in turn acts as a receiver/decoder end point. In the case of larger PA systems, a NetSpeaker can be connected directly to a loudspeaker and additional power amplifier.
Chris Edwards, marketing director at CIE Group said, "The 914075E Net Streamer is a simple convenient system that operates on an existing IP infrastructure so removing the need for the installation of new cabling. This makes it an appealing proposition for installers, as well as owners of commercial operations who want to take advantage of the many benefits of having an enterprise-wide audio-over-IP system."
