The Netherlands - 3M will launch its Vikuiti Rear Projection Film at Integrated Systems Europe 2007 (Stand O 50). The flexible, easy to apply film enables video, static images and dynamic messaging to be projected directly onto windows and glass surfaces or partitions, becoming the centre of attraction in any high street or shopping mall. A range of digital wall displays and interactive whiteboards will also be on show with the brand new Digital Media System 700 and 800 Series, featuring Vikuiti Super Close Projection from 3M.

The Vikuiti display enhancement film is 3M's latest rear projection innovation designed to transform any glass surface into a dynamic branding and promotions tool. Up to now, implementing on-glass or in-window digital signage in retail, banking, corporate and education environments has been problematic due to the inherent reflection challenges created when placing a plasma or LCD screen behind glass.

The Vikuiti films can be cut to any shape or size, and can be applied directly onto glass surfaces. This overcomes poor visibility issues by reducing the number of reflective surfaces and displaying strong, brightly coloured images, with the highest black/white contrast ratios, and excellent levels of definition, to viewers watching from the other side of the glass.

Visitors to the stand will see these Vikuiti Rear Projection Films running 3M Digital Signage software. 3M's software provides advanced content and network management functionality for networks of any size. Organisations are given central control of their marketing content delivery, with the ability to change or update messages dynamically, and even to deliver different messages at different times of day to address the changing audience profile. The software is compatible with popular multimedia file formats and offers the ability to divide screens into multiple content 'zones' as well as the easy incorporation of live data feeds such as weather or news reports.

3M will also preview key additions to its line of digital products for enhanced visual communications. Based on the pioneering Vikuiti Super Close Projection optical lens technology, the new products enable delivery of exceptionally large, sharp images from very close to the screen.

The highly compact, portable Digital Media System 700 Series is ideal for small rooms where space is a challenge. The projector combines high quality video and vibrant images with powerful Dolby Sound and integrated DVD player to make the ideal classroom, boardroom or home projector system. It can project 60" Hollywood Quality Video (HQV) images from just 24" or up to 100" from 42" away.

The Digital Media System 800 Series allows for simple wall mount design to avoid any projector interference when teachers or presenters are working on interactive white boards. The projector's integrated telescoping arm projects images from 50" to 85". It also offers built-in anti-theft security, HQV and 2 X 20 Watt Stereo Surround Sound TrueSound XT(R) technology.

The 3M Digital Wall Display Plus Series of interactive digital whiteboards will be shown on the stand alongside the new Digital Media Systems. This all-in-one projection system is perfect for trainers and presenters who need to ensure their message is understood and remembered. It combines Vikuiti Super Close projection, digital annotation and mouse control, in a wall-mounted design to maximise communication in the most demanding settings.
