The entire installation involved more than 200 product lines from industry leading manufacturers, including ETC, Strand, Aldo Ianiro, Manfrotto, Audio-Technica, Sennheiser, Soundcraft, Allen & Heath, Denon and Martin. The company provided not only the complete lighting, audio and AV systems but also bespoke solutions, by the design and installation of three multimedia control lecterns, tailored for each facility's specific requirements.
Each lectern has an integrated LCD touch-screen, offering the user access to a comprehensive range of features including a motorized projection screen, a Sanyo LCD projector, iLight dimmer control of ETC Source Four lanterns (ideal for a 'presentation' lighting configuration) and audio control courtesy of an Allen & heath DR66 processor. The touch-screen also controls a rack-mounted DVD/CD player, VCR and cassette deck. To complete the offering of full multimedia control, a PC connection port and a network point are incorporated, giving the presenter flexible scope for vibrant multimedia presentations, including real-time streaming from the client's media server.
Peter Keiderling, Special Projects Division manager at A.C. Lighting, said: "Working with such a clearly focused and efficient project team has permitted us to smoothly integrate a range of innovative lighting, audio, and audio-visual technologies into such a modern, purpose-built facility."
