The Columbus McKinnon Lodestar motor. The new agreement extends A.C's stockholding to include the full range of Lodestar and Prostar hoists, winches and associated products.
UK - A.C. Rigging, a division of A.C. Entertainment Technologies, has recently been appointed as a distributor for CM Entertainment Lodestars. As a supplier of CM equipment to this market for many years, the new agreement extends A.C's stockholding to include the full range of Columbus McKinnon Lodestar and Prostar hoists, winches and associated products.

From its offices in High Wycombe and Leeds, A.C. can provide UK and international delivery of CM products. The company's large stockholding currently includes over 200 CM chain hoist bodies, four kilometres of genuine CM Star grade chain and thousands of CM hoist spares.

This choice of CM products is backed up with a full range of related services, including a comprehensive range of spares, post sales technical support, system integration and product training. In addition, the company has a department dedicated to the assembly, testing, inspection, servicing and repairs of CM Lodestar and Prostar motors, manual chain hoist blocks and other associated rigging products with original spare parts.

A.C.'s Rigging division recently held an official CM Lodestar training course, led by veteran Columbus McKinnon entertainment product trainer, Dave Carmack. A basic course covered practical exercises in application and trouble-shooting scenarios, whilst an advanced two-day course covered inspection and servicing procedures of the Lodestar and Prostar motors. The company is planning more CM courses in the near future.

A.C. Rigging sales manager, Adam Beaumont, comments: "This is great news for us. A.C. have been supplying CM products to the entertainment market for many years and this distribution agreement shows our hard work has paid off. We are proud to be associated with a company like Columbus McKinnon, it adds real strength to our product portfolio and the A.C. Rigging brand."
