"This is an important stage in Ableton's growth," said Hill. "We look forward to working closely with dealers on how to best sell Live in their markets. For the last few years, I've worked closely with M-Audio in the US market and feel honoured to take this next evolutionary step for Ableton."
"Since 2001, when we began selling Live, we have experienced tremendous growth in the US dealer channel. We are confident that our increased investments in the US market, combined with a dedicated end-user focus, will result in even more growth for our sales partners and our company as a whole," said Ableton's commercial director Rutger De Groot.
Ableton's NY office is located in the Chelsea district of Manhattan and currently employs five full-time business professionals with deep Ableton product and MI market knowledge.
Live is a solution designed for each stage of the musical process, from creation to production to performance.
