UK - The Association of British Theatre Technician's ABTT Theatre Show is gearing up to celebrate its 30th birthday in London's Royal Horticultural Halls, 11-12 June 2008.

Many product developments will be on show, across all disciplines of lighting, audio, rigging, staging and accessories.

On the lighting front, Selecon will showcase its new 80V Power Supply with direct DMX control, while ETC will highlight products that offer low cost of ownership and sustainable solutions. PRG Europe will highlight its products and services.

Zero 88 will demonstrate its new version 3 software for its Leap Frog 48 & 96 consoles and its Jester ML series. Stage Electrics will premiere the QMaxz 575 moving head, which they say offers cost effectivity and high performance as the latest addition to its expansive rental fleet.

TMB will showcase the multi-award winning Blues System comprising the BlueDome and BlueBeam, which both offer LED sourced and energy efficient dimmable fittings designed for backstage lighting in the working theatre.

KAVE Theatre Services gives the green light at the Show to highlight how theatres can utilise sustainable techniques to reduce running and maintenance costs. A host of LED alternatives will be showcased as well as some of innovative software, including Lightfactory to assist lighting technicians.

Clay Paky will debut its new Alpha Series of moving lights, which includes the Alpha Beam.With energy and creativity in mind, MGC Lamps will highlight its range of energy saving solutions with low energy lamps for a variety of applications.

Avolites will be showing its Diamond 4 console, the Pearl Expert - recently used for Paul Weller's tour, and the latest addition to the Avolites family, the Pearl Tiger.

Latest audio developments include KV2 Audio's ES and EX Series' of full-range, active driven loudspeaker systems, as well as the product lines it distributes: APB Dynasonics, the small format ProRack, and Apex's Sound level limiter and controller products which will offer solutions to meet the Noise at Work regulations.

Out Board will feature its new TiMaxTwo SoundHub multi-channel audio processor and playback systems. Plus its new TiMax Talent Tracker short-range radar system will be displayed, which is designed to track performers and make their audio image automatically follow their position onstage. Also on show from Orbital will be a host of new radio comms solutions from HME, including The DX300 2-Channel master station and the revolutionary WS200 Wireless Speaker Station, plus the latest bodypack transmitter from Zaxcom, DigiDesign's ultra-compact Mix Rack and d&b audiotechnik's E8, E12 and E15X -SUB loudspeakers and the new D6 amplifier will also be at the show for the first time.

Direct Telecom is staging its 'Two Way Digital Surgery" which will showcase a host of radio solutions. From entry level licence exempt units through to the new Mototrbo digital two way radios from Motorola - plus numerous earpieces, headsets, remote speaker microphones will be on display with experts on hand to offer practical advice.

Allen & Heath will show its new digital and analogue mixers, including the iDR0 2U rack processing unit, which provides all the processing features of the company's flagship iLive digital mixing system for networked audio, while Martin Audio will highlight its flagship range and two newly launched additions, headed by the W8VDQ, which combines line array and differential dispersion technologies to provide an advanced solution to the requirement of even coverage over wide angles and throw distances.
