UK - The ABTT Theatre Show 2025 attracted increased visitor numbers, record-breaking engagement and international draw.
There were over 3,200 people on the show floor this year, making the ABTT Theatre Show at Alexandra Palace busier than ever. With a 15.6% increase in unique attendees, a 16% increase in revisits on Day 2, this year’s event confirmed its growing importance as a central hub for live performance professionals.
The show welcomed over 200 global brands, featured a vigorous seminar programme, and hosted hands-on workshops led by renowned industry figures – all aimed at advancing careers, showcasing innovation and facilitating powerful new connections.
ABTT CEO Liz Sillett commented: “My first ABTT Theatre Show as CEO was a whirlwind of excitement and brilliance. The buzz was incredible, coming from such a talented and inspiring mix of exhibitors, visitors, workshop leaders and speakers, and not forgetting our generous sponsors. I can't wait to do it all again next year.”
ABTT platinum ISG member TAIT once again sponsored the ABTT Award Presentations and Social on the Terrace, which took place after a busy first day on the show. A major highlight on the industry’s calendar, the awards showcased the outstanding contributions people and products have been making to theatre and live events. The Awards were followed by networking opportunities at the Social on the Terrace. With food available from a variety of vendors and the bar open, the discussions went on into the late evening.
ABTT gold ISG member Robe UK enjoyed a busy, successful and positive ABTT Theatre Show, presenting two dynamic exhibition areas: a stand upstairs in the main hall, together with a large demo and seminar area located downstairs in the venue’s Palace Suite.
Robe UK’s David Catterall added: “Another great ABTT show! This show always feels unique, allowing all parts of the industry to come together to make new connections as well as refresh friendships with familiar faces. This year Robe highlighted their family of brands and expressed this in exhibition displays and demos as well as through seminar contributions from Anolis, Artistic Licence, Avolites, LSC and Robe Lighting. We very much believe that education and learning are as much a part of this trade show as showing new products, and we look forward to continuing this next year too.”
KV2 Audio took over the Roman Bar for product demos. Tom Weldon, UK sales manager noted: “Our priority at all times is to actively demonstrate our products and our takeover of the Roman Bar at this year’s ABTT Show was hugely beneficial, elevating the show experience for both ourselves and the many people who visited our demonstrations. Attendees to the demonstrations – whether existing owners, users and fans or people new to the KV2 brand – were unanimously impressed with the quality available with KV2 equipment and we look forward to repeating the experience at ABTT 2026!”
The ABTT Theatre Show seminar programme was supported by ABTT Gold ISG member Preevue, with seminars taking place at Palm Court and in the Great Hall, a new addition to the show floor for 2025. Sessions covered cutting-edge guidance, key industry topics and the latest technology with discussions led by top industry experts.
