Lasting 90 minutes, the show concluded with a high energy laser and firework finale. tarm Showlaser supplied four high-powered green lasers at the back, under the screen and four high-powered full-colour units at the front of the arena. All lasers were air-cooled and based on solid-state-technology.
Two of the full colour lasers fed the two 4m high and 1000kg heavy industrial robots at the front of the performance area and the other two lasers were between them and the edge of the pitch. The two Laser-Robots were supplied as a novel idea by tarm's managing director Ralf Lottig.
A total of 40 remote-controlled smoke- and windmachines were installed all around the stadium. All the eight lasers were controlled via a fiberoptic-network and operated by Kai Kasprzyk from three DSP computers synched into the show via timecode from video and for the finale, from the pyro-timecode of German-based pyro specialists LunatX.
After the show, Major Dr. Fawaz Al Karaeen stated: "Everyone was delighted with the results of the show which far exceeded expectations. It was great working with such a fantastic team, whose experience, vision and enthusiasm made the occasion really memorable."
