The fully renovated Hunguest Europa Congress Centre site will host exhibitors and visitors on several floors and in different halls. The Congress centre is less than half an hour from Budapest international airport and offers all the facilities needed for this type of event. A shuttle service will leave from the centre of Budapest to facilitate visitor transfers, say the organisers.
Marika Dallos, the founder of ACF Belgium and the initiator of this show, explains: "ACF Belgium has been very successful for over 20 years, with constantly rising attendance figures. At the request of several exhibitors, we are exporting the concept to Budapest this year. As such, the Hungarian capital has a central geographical position and the entire region is experiencing substantial development in the audiovisual sector. Several foreign exhibitors are currently looking for distributors in Eastern European countries and many audiovisual and show equipment players want to explore new technologies. We are therefore in the perfect position where supply meets demand."
A series of workshops and lectures aimed at both exhibitors and visitors will be proposed throughout the fair. Many other hosted events focusing on aspects of the audio-visual sector will be arranged, the organisers add.
