The RDM XS8 is available now through authorized ADJ dealers worldwide

USA - Designed to make DMX data distribution easier with less clutter, ADJ Lighting has launched the RDM XS8, a 19” rack-mount, eight-way DMX and RDM data splitter designed to deliver seamless signal distribution for entertainment lighting professionals. This powerful and reliable unit ensures efficient DMX and RDM signal amplification, electrical isolation, and regeneration, making it an essential tool for large-scale productions, theatres, concerts, and architectural lighting setups.

The RDM XS8 allows users to distribute a single DMX input into eight electrically isolated outputs, preventing signal interference and ensuring a stable connection. By actively regenerating the DMX signal, it maintains reliability across long cable runs, making it ideal for complex lighting installations. With RDM (Remote Device Management) support, users can remotely configure and monitor RDM-compatible fixtures, streamlining setup and troubleshooting.

Designed for professional applications, the RDM XS8 features a rugged one-space, 19” rack-mount chassis, making it suitable for permanent installations or touring productions. It includes one five-pin XLR input, one five-pin XLR thru, and eight five-pin XLR outputs, ensuring compatibility with industry-standard DMX setups. The unit’s high-quality electrical isolation protects against ground loops and potential damage caused by faulty wiring, safeguarding valuable lighting equipment.

"The RDM XS8 is built to deliver superior reliability, helping lighting professionals maintain flawless communication between their control systems and fixtures," said Alfred Gonzales, ADJ USA director of sales. "With RDM support, users can easily monitor and configure their lighting networks, saving time and reducing setup complexity. Customers have been asking for this product; I think we’ve delivered a rock-solid DMX/RDM splitter for live productions and installations."

The RDM XS8 has undergone extensive testing and has earned the following safety certifications: cETLus, CE, CB, UKCA, and FCC.
