Hiyu Nagaoka who runs pro sales, works closely with All Access Inc president Cozy Hattori and confirms the faith they have in the brand: "The Audient products have both superb sound quality and excellent usability, the whole range is very professional."
From the outset All Access has proved they mean business, as Audient products fly off the shelves. One sale of particular note was an iD22 to Suzuki Daichi Hideyuki, a top songwriter, producer and recording/mixing engineer in Japan, who recently gave a detailed review of the product in Sound & Recording Magazine. According to Daichi, "The iD22 is just what all musicians/engineers need for their desktop creations! I am totally surprised at how incredible the AD/DA quality is against studio standard I/O, the simple DSP mixer section, and the well designed monitor control section is just fab."
Hiyu also happens to be a former student at University of West London, where the number of Audient products used for teaching is in double figures, so he has first-hand experience of the product range. "The ASP8024 mic pres and EQ have a stunning audio quality and are very precise. You get exactly what you hear - a simple, but sophisticated design which is easy to understand - and that same Audient mic pre design is used throughout the whole product range!" he says.
Audient's Simon Blackwood is also delighted with the appointment. "Cozy and his team have a long experience in working with Japanese customers and dealers," he says. "Audient's focus is on quality, which is supported by a proud heritage. With a similar outlook, Cozy is perfectly placed and equipped to deal with sales, support and service at exactly the right level."
