The MultiLoop Driver (MLD) range amplifiers, featuring dual output channels and 90° phase shift are each designed to fit in a single standard 19" rack mount bay, making them the most space efficient available, offering unparalleled system flexibility and a minimum 50% reduction in AV cabinet space when compared to others on the market.
The compact nature of the technology has not impacted on Ampetronic equipment's renowned reliability and performance either; the elegant units offer class leading current and voltage headroom at practical loads for unmatched crystal clear sound clarity and a genuinely excellent audio experience for the user.
Consisting of three units with a range of output currents for efficient area coverage solutions, the range is headed up by the MLD9 which features twin 9 amp output channels, Class G energy efficiency for minimizing operational costs and is capable of driving areas of up-to 3,300m2 when combined with an Ampetronic MultiLoop design, making it the highest output amplifier commercially available today.
What's more, the capability of each unit has been listed in accordance with the new EN 62489-1 Standard for measurement of induction loop amplifier performance, which will enable a simple and transparent comparison against other equipment which meets the same Standard and should help clear some of the 'fog' created by some manufacturers to infer unrealistic performance levels.
"The MLD units are a major step forwards in space efficiency for high performance large area induction loop systems," comments Ampetronic managing director Julian Pieters. "With this new range of products we once again extend the possibilities for our customers, and provide a new industry benchmark."
Ampetronic will be exhibiting at Stand RA B2 at PLASA Focus, Leeds on 30 April and 1 May.
