M on stage at the Bataclan
France - The legendary Parisian venue, the Bataclan, was packed to the rafters on the night of 17 October as over 1000 people flocked to see their favourite artists take part in a massive charity concert on behalf of the homeless and those forced to live in dwellings unfit for human habitation in Paris.

Organised by the Abbé Pierre Foundation, the line up for the concert, Ne Lâchons Rien read like a Who's Who of the French music scene with performances from the likes of M, Zazie, Alain Souchon, Nolwenn Leroy, Laurent Voulzy and many, many more. In charge of monitors for the event was top French monitor engineer, Christophe Genix, assisted by Geoffroy 'Jeff' Leon and Cedric Pontieux. To handle stage monitoring requirements, Genix specified no less than 12 DX15 wedges from APG.

"I was delighted to be working with APG again for this event," said Genix. "After having used DX15s on the recent Yodelice tour and really enjoyed them, knowing that I would be using them again for a large and complex event like this was very reassuring. I didn't have a lot of time between the set up first thing in the morning and the soundcheck with the main band and around 20 artists.

"I had to work very quickly to EQ all of my wedges as well as the in-ears, but having used DX15s before, I knew exactly what I was doing. The results were, as ever, efficient and sounded great. The musicians and artists alike were all pleased with the colour, the energy and dynamics of the DX15s."

Jeff Leon, who'd not used DX15s before, agreed. "I have to say I was both pleasantly surprised and genuinely impressed by the DX15 when used as a stage monitor - APG have done a great job with this loudspeaker," he remarked.
