The 2000sq.ft training space will feature a full touring sound rig, as well as the staging, rigging, lighting and video systems that comprise the other elements of the modern production environment.
Commenting for Wigwam Acoustics, Chris Hill, praised the support of Audio-Technica and the many other audio companies that have contributed to establishing the training facility: "I have been amazed at the generosity of companies and individuals who have contributed to the training scheme and project, It shows that the industry itself recognises the need for education for the future of our industry."
The Charlie Jones Live Room was inaugurated at an opening party on 1 February, attended by numerous industry professionals and representatives from leading suppliers and manufacturers.
