over 2,000 people entered the gallery and 4000 photographs were taken
Croatia - This past March Zagreb played host to an exhibit entitled Bruketa&Žini? om: Exhibit held in the central Barrel Gallery of the hall of the Croatian Associations of Artists. European advertising agency Bruketa&Žini? OM created the installation where High End Systems, a Barco company, Axon Media Servers were used to deploy content on the 360 degree projection space.

On entry into the gallery, each visitor was photographed and the photographs were projected in real time circularly on gallery walls, on the LED screen on Croatian capital Zagreb's Main Square and on the web. The gallery functioned as a generator for the content that was then presented in places where there was a much larger audience than in the cultural institutions.

Local Zagreb system integrator company LMT (Laboratory of Multimedia Technology) specified and provided five Axon Media Servers to ensure the continuous, undistorted projection along the rounded gallery walls. The Axon media servers were programmed with a Wholehog 3 console and together created the seamless video presentation on the 57m wide by 5.5m high surface. The collage generator capability within Axon's award-wining graphics engine enabled Preworks console operator Michael Mayler to easily and quickly create the required image. A live web video steam generated by remote cameras was then input into the Axon Media Servers via the server's standard HD-SDI input.

"Axon Media Servers and the Wholehog console by High End Systems proved to be the perfect choice for such a demanding installation and environment." says system designer Zlatko Jelacic from LMT. "The exhibit ran smoothly and was easy to program. We were able to implement and maintain the first 360-degree video projection in our country with no major complications."

The installation proved to be a success as over 2,000 people entered the gallery, 4000 photographs were taken, and the website and photographs were shared on various social networks.
