Spain - Estopa is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a tour that is making a mark in every city they visit. One of the highlights of the duo’s celebration is the impressive stage production, featuring lighting designed by Juanjo Beloqui and a team supplied by Fluge Audiovisuales. Stonex, Ayrton’s exclusive distributor for Spain, is also represented during the tour through the presence of Ayrton Eurus and Perseo fixtures.

Having toured the United States and Latin America, they are currently visiting Spanish cities including Valencia, Seville, Madrid, and Bilbao, filling stadiums and creating an unforgettable show with lighting tailored to each of the venues. From Civitas Metropolitano to Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias in Valencia, this 25th-anniversary tour has reached new heights.

Included in the tour’s lighting fixture selection are 60 Eurus S LED Profiles and 30 Perseo Beam fixtures from Ayrton. When asked about his choice of these fixtures, Juanjo Beloqui stated: "I wanted to design an all-LED setup and it was a good opportunity to get to know these fixtures up close. We chose these fixtures because of their versatility and intensity."

Beloqui used the Eurus S to create a grid above the stage with four trusses and complete ground rows, positioning themselves both in front of and behind the band, as well as on both sides of the stage, above and below the video screens. Eurus S features an optical system specifically developed for applications that require perfect image reproduction and a significant reduction of distortion caused by the shutter blades in wide-angle settings.

Eurus S, specially designed for stage applications, is equipped with a compact 650W monochromatic LED emitter calibrated to 8200K, capable of emitting metallic white light with a power of 36,000 lumens at a colour temperature of 6700K.

“Perseo Beam creates amazing side lights, in four lines of 10 fixtures each side, completing the top grid trusses like goalposts,” comments Juanjo Beloqui.

Perseo Beam was born as a multifunction beam effect luminaire with great creative capabilities, thanks to its 48 fixed and rotating gobos combined with 4 prisms. Its features enable great precision and colour quality, making the Perseo Beam much more than a lighting fixture with IP65 protection.

Juanjo Beloqui comments: “We have been very meticulous with the programming to ensure that there is almost no difference between the various fixtures. The integration in terms of effects, whether it is movement, colour change, or intensity, needs to be very well coordinated so that there is no noticeable jump in characteristics. Beyond the use of the Eurus in spot mode and the Perseos in beam mode in most of the cues, our focus is on seamless transitions and uniform performance across all devices.”
