Using an existing Ethernet network, the products provide a flexible public address system with many facilities. Text-to-speech, live paging, stored messages, timed message, timed volume adjustment and realtime log (including fault reporting) are just some of the functions available. There is also a facility to communicate with passenger information display (PIDS) for automatic audio translation.
VIGIL VoIP enables multi-user access and is suitable for numerous applications. It is demonstrated at PLASA with two types of control: touchscreen and telephone handset.
The system includes a new amplifier/VoIP product the BVV050D. This is an all-in-one unit, which provides two independent 50W amplifiers and two independent audio IP channels.
