MiStrip, entered in the PLASA awards for innovation competition, sets a new standard for LED display technology in a wide variety of applications. From large free-form video displays to architectural visual design.
High brightness and high pixel density in a slim and lightweight yet rugged package make MiStrip a true all-round performer. The possibilities with this product include not only bright video displays of any size, shape or form but also lighting-type effects, in one package.
Also on show is the MiSphere which pens up the door to new, bold and innovative LED display solutions, indoors or out, and for touring shows or permanent installations.
With 360-degree viewing angles, opaque, light-defusing casing and ability to play both full video and data, the MiSphere bridges the gap between existing video and lighting products, enabling it to be used for both application purposes. Individual MiSpheres are daisy-chained into a string, with several strings in turn forming a 3-D visualisation curtain. Each MiSphere acts as a pixel within the curtain, making it possible to display images and simulate lighting effects across the entire curtain, while also achieving a "Look-Through" effect and "Multiple Angle" viewing-effect for the audience all around the scene.
Built specifically for the demanding rental and staging market, the OLite 510 is the first LED display tile designed for creative applications as well as image magnification (IMAG). Each tile can easily be split up in to 64 modules enabling creative display designs of any size and shape.
Also on show will be a range of projectors including the new FLM R20+, one of the quietest 20,000 lumen projectors on the market today. Barco also has the technology to hold it all together with the latest in event management in the Encore controller, which will be demonstrated live.
