"Barix is very happy to announce our OEM partnership with Aiphone, a market leader in intercom solutions with an extensive sales reach, strong sales organization and a very high and consistent approach to quality," said Johannes G. Rietschel, CEO and Founder of Barix AG. "We are proud that Aiphone has selected Barix as a development partner and supplier for a core product, and look forward to a long and fruitful relationship."
At InfoComm 2010, Barix will exhibit its latest OEM invention that is exclusively marketed by Aiphone and its channel partners. The Aiphone IPW-1A network intercom adapter is a customized Annuncicom solution featuring Aiphone proprietary CommuniCenter software for remote door activation, group calling, event logging, and voice recording. Barix developed the OEM solution in partnership with Aiphone to its exact specifications, with the two companies working together to create a network intercom adapter for high-quality voice/audio communication over TCP/IP networks.
"Aiphone is pleased to have worked with Barix on the development of a high-quality intercom solution that will extend installation opportunities for our customers," said Futoshi Tanaka, CEO of Aiphone Communications Systems in the US. "Using this new device, Aiphone end-users and integrators can build scalable intercom solutions of any size for a variety of applications that range from general security and institutional intercom and paging to commercial, industrial and residential access control. This can be achieved through the ability to deploy an unlimited number of IPW-1A devices for door stations and other locations and connect them all over a centralized IP network."
