BCS's K2 system on the Sam Bailey tour at De Montford Hall, Leicester
UK - Well-known for its work in the concert touring and corporate events markets, sound rental company BCS Audio is a long-term advocate of L-Acoustics sound systems. The company's recent investment in a K2 variable curvature WST line source system underlines its commitment to high quality audio solutions and adds an extra dimension to its offering.

"Our inventory already included V-DOSC, DV-DOSC, Kara, and Kiva systems, in fact, pretty much the whole range of L-Acoustics products, so investing in K2 seemed like the next logical step," says BCS managing director David Shepherd. "We went out to L-Acoustics' Paris facility with its UK sales manager Stuart Down to hear the K2 system and pretty much said that we wanted it there and then.

"Having K2 gives us an extra competitive edge, enabling us to work easily in venues where there are limited weight loadings that can't take the bigger systems, but still allowing us to get a lot of power in the air. K2 sounds great and rigs really well; not having external parts for the rigging on every box is a real advantage."

Purchased through SSE Sales, BCS's K2 was put to work almost immediately after the company took delivery, with 20 cabinets out of its total of 24 being used on The X-Factor winner Sam Bailey's current UK tour.

"I get on very well with Alex Penn at SSE and the service he provided was great," David adds. "Stuart was also extremely helpful and went through everything we needed to know with us, which made things very easy.

"Being able to send the system straight out on tour means our investment is already working for us and we're looking forward to it having a very busy year."
