Sue Dunford is currently head of production for entertainment for ITV Studios UK, responsible for the delivery of over 1250 hours of television a year. Having started her career at the BBC, Sue worked in production management across various genres. She joined ITV in 2001 as head of production for arts. Since then she has been head of production for all the non-scripted departments within ITV production, managing large teams in both Manchester and London.
Tom King began work as event manager at the Royal Albert Hall in 2006, working on a host of shows, including Fashion Rocks 2007, the BBC Proms, The Institute of Directors Annual Convention and various classical and pop concerts. Now head of show management and facilities departments at the venue, Tom oversees a team of 60 and controls a budget in excess of £5m.
Piers Shepperd, technical director of the London Olympics, has spent the last 25 years carving a career which has spanned design, production management, lighting, automation and the development of cutting edge manufacturing processes. In the 1990s Piers moved into technical design and worked to deliver critically acclaimed projects such as We Will Rock You, U2's PopMart Tour and the Rolling Stones' Licks World Tour. The last decade has seen Piers work on major Olympic projects - from Athens in 2004 (associate technical director for the opening and closing ceremonies) to his role as technical director for the London 2012 Games, for which he delivered four unique and spectacular ceremonies.
