The updated audio and video monitor range features models in 1U and 2U versions with up to 16 ultra-reliable, high-resolution multi colour bargraphs. Each device auto-detects the signal sources with models available for all video 'flavours' up to and including 3G HD and options with a variety of Dolby decoding.
The BM-A2-E16SHD is a 2U audio monitor, capable of monitoring 3G/HD/SD video and multi-channel audio sources. This model provides a pair of auto-detecting 3G/HD/SD SDI inputs and accepts eight analogue audio inputs and eight AES-3id pairs. Audio is displayed on 16 high-resolution LED bargraphs providing long term reliability. Selected audio channels are also provided as SDI, AES-3id and analogue outputs on the rear panel.
A Dolby decoder is included in the BM-A2-E16SHD as standard. When enabled, it can decode Dolby E, Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus material from any of the AES inputs, or from embedded audio data within the SDI bitstreams. Eight Dolby mix-down algorithms are available directly from a front panel rotary control. Comprehensive metadata reporting is also provided via the on-board display.
The updated BM-AV2-8SHD is a 2U video/audio monitor, capable of monitoring both HD/SD video and multi-channel audio sources. This unit provides four video inputs, two auto-detecting SD composite (PAL/NTSC) inputs and a pair of auto-detecting HD/SD SDI inputs.
Bel's audio only range of in-rack monitors has not been ignored. Both the BM-A2-4SHD and BM-A1-2SHD have both benefited from the latest firmware and redesigned front panels.
Also receiving both updated firmware and a redesigned front panel is the BM-A1-2SHD. This is a 1U audio monitor also capable of handling video signals up to and including 3G and with its compact dimensions is designed for locations where available rack space is limited.
