Morris was VP of worldwide marketing at HES from March 2003 to March 2004. He has spent the last six months running his own marketing consulting firm based in the Austin area. Prior to his stint at High End, Morris was employed by Dell Computer Corporation and was responsible for developing and implementing Dell's software sales and marketing strategy. In earlier years, he founded and managed a marketing and public relations firm based in Dallas, Texas.
HES CEO Frank Gordon says, "We turned to Bill for this position because we recognize that he is customer-oriented, he understands the business and the direction in which the company is going, and he is extremely well liked inside and outside of High End."
Morris says: "The industry is poised to take advantage of growth opportunities following a couple of years of challenging economic conditions. High End Systems is in the perfect position to reap the benefits with its new line of digital lighting products and the new additions to the Wholehog family that will debut this fall."
