Blaze is back on tour in the UK
UK - Blaze has returned with a UK tour. Two years in production, Blaze has been an epic journey for the people involved: the brainchild of Dutch producer Eric Holman of pANdADDY productions, experts in bringing street and roots shows to the main stage have partnered up with dance heavyweight Anthony van Laast to create a spectacle.

Sound for the UK Tour, which follows on from a run in London and a successful tour of Holland, is provided by Cardiff based theatre specialists Stage Sound Services. "Our AXYS system was the obvious choice for this show" commented Phil Hurley, MD of Stage Sound Services. "The show requires a system with huge dynamic range and plenty of punch, but the danger is that you end up with something that's loud with no real definition or fidelity to it.

"From previous experience, on the UK Tour of The Who's iconic rock opera Quadrophenia, we knew that the AXYS boxes were more than capable of delivering the special combination of that really high fidelity and transparent sound whilst at the same time delivering the dynamic range, SPL and punch required. So when Blaze came to London we had the confidence that the AXYS boxes would deliver; and they did! So using the system on the UK tour is just a natural progression really."

In total eight AXYS Scope T-2115 and eight AXYS B07 subwoofers form the FOH system for the show, with an additional two Scope T2112 with built in amplification and DSP providing on stage foldback.
