Dominic Sheerman
UK - Reading-based event lighting specialist, Blinding Light has announced the addition of Dominic Sheerman to its in-house project management team. With 30 years' of experience in the lighting industry and 16 years specialising in the provision of lighting and rigging services for the corporate and special events market, Sheerman is a valued edition to the growing Blinding Light team.

During his extensive experience in the sector, Sheerman has worked with major brands and production companies servicing a number of sectors including automotive, technology, finance and pharmaceutical across Europe and North America.

Over the last two years, the Blinding Light team has gone from strength to strength and Sheerman now joins over 20 colleagues based at the company's Reading offices and warehouse facility. The addition of Sheerman enhances the line-up of industry stalwarts at Blinding Light including design director Anthony 'Turbo' Hall and lighting designer Neil Harvey, who joined the team in January. In his new role Sheerman will work closely with project manager, Matt Dunn as well as the company's operations director, Nick Holloway and managing director, Patrick Stacey.

"I recognised that the lighting industry was missing a true and reliable specialist in the corporate and special events sector, a company that puts quality at the top of the agenda," commented Sheerman. "Blinding Light has the reputation for quality and a clear vision for the future that will enable it to be the first choice for quality, the first choice for customer service and the first choice for cost. I wanted to be a part of that journey."

As part of the growing project management team at Blinding Light, Sheerman will be the main point of contact for a number of the company's lighting designer and production clients.

Patrick Stacey, MD at Blinding Light commented, "We are delighted that Dom has come on board and are confident that he will make a significant contribution towards our goal to become the first choice for event lighting in the UK."
