Paradigm reports that sales manager Mick Perrone and operations manager, Steve Pratt have joined the main board with immediate effect and are appointed as directors. This expands the working board, led by managing director Paul Wood to five members. Greg Jeffreys remains chairman and Polly Whittaker as finance director. At the same time Ross Hugo has been appointed as a non-executive director.
Meanwhile Jeffreys has ascended through the InfoComm ranks. His academic work on projected image quality and associated metrics gradually merged into InfoComm's pioneering work on quality standards and best practices. InfoComm is now an accredited ANSI/ISO Standards Development Organisation and Jeffreys sits on the steering committee managing the project, as well as the task group currently writing an ANSI Standard on projected System Contrast Ratio (SCR). This year he serves as secretary-treasurer and when he takes up the presidency in 2012 he will become the first non-North American to hold the post.
Commented Jeffreys: "It's a real honour to be voted into such an exalted position within our industry. My period on the board has marked the most satisfying period of my professional life, whereby I work with really clever and successful people in a truly collegiate fashion."
