Europe - An array of new products and technologies is being launched by Bose this autumn during a roadshow that will take place in eight European countries and showcase the new lines to more than 1,000 of the company's ProPartners, authorised dealers, consultants and press from 22 countries. The road show, titled 'Performance by Design' underlines the ability of Bose and its partners to offer totally integrated solutions for engineered sound systems and multi-zone background applications.

Each show will act as the launch pad for a number of new products which either complement existing product ranges such as the Panaray LT loudspeaker family, or are a completely new addition to the Bose range, such as the ControlSpace systems. The latest version of MODELER sound system software and the patented Auditioner playback system will raise the bar in terms of sound system simulation capability.System design and acoustic prediction are now enhanced by the more powerful version of Bose MODELER sound system software, which now runs on the Windows XP operating system, and a redesigned Bose Auditioner playback system. These next generation design tools build on the well-established strength of both MODELER software and the Auditioner system to give system designers an unprecedented ability to create better sound systems that specifically address the needs of the customer. System operation is now considerably easier and quicker, enabling expanded use of the tools by more people for a wider range of large and small projects. The result - better sound quality and intelligibility in more venues, with less effort! They also give clients increased confidence in how the installed system will perform, allowing them to listen to an accurate demonstration before installation commences and even before a facility has been built, and offering the unique 'Bose Performance Guarantee.

Two new sound management and distribution systems, the ControlSpace ESP-88 engineered sound processor and the ControlSpace AMS-8 audio management system, offer advanced control for nearly any installation. The ControlSpace ESP-88 system, say Bose, delivers a powerful, flexible and sophisticated digital signal processing solution for larger multi-purpose venues and auditoriums, with simple, elegant controls; the ControlSpace AMS-8 system solutions, meanwhile, offer simple and flexible operation of multi-zone audio distribution, messaging and paging in hospitality, retail and conference venues, say the company.

The Bose line of engineered sound loudspeakers is strengthened with two new Panaray LT full-range models: the LT 9403 and LT 6403, and a new modular bass loudspeaker, the Panaray LT MB12. Both full-range models deliver high SPL with frequency response down to 50Hz reducing the need for a separate bass enclosure. This makes them well-suited for venues that require full-range sound but do not have the space or budget for separate bass units. The compact Panaray MB12 has been introduced to increase the flexibility of the range and enable system designers to build a powerful yet extremely compact and directional bass array.

All of the new products, tools and technologies will be available in Europe from September 2005 through authorised BOSE ProPartners.
