Brähler ICS sales engineer, Will Robertson, said: "The system was commissioned on the basis that it would provide reliable, flexible and maintenance-free operation, whilst pushing the boundaries of design and innovation. The utilization of Cat 5 cabling and a software processing solution proved invaluable in ensuring the system could meet the high standards of the council."
One of the many critical requirements Brähler ICS were able to meet was the need for intelligent loudspeaker muting, as well as designing 73 custom, flush-mount delegate units to fit pre-determined locations (old ashtray cut-outs in the desks with three free-standing units. This digital discussion system is also future-proof, with the facility to include electronic voting by the simple addition of a voting software module, and hard-disk recording of discussions for distribution over a network or by CD. After successful commissioning, the discussion system is now fully-functioning.
