Located over 500sq.m split across two floor levels, Club Deluxe is open six days a week running from Monday to Saturday and caters for just about every musical genre from retro and pop to house and techno. Designed by acoustic and stage lighting specialist, Eliana Spasov, the style of the club is distinctly modern, with an arty-industrial feel to it. Low level neon and laser lighting is used carefully throughout, coupled with industrial, metallic surfaces, to create the look of a club that wouldn't look out of place in Berlin or London rather than Southern Bulgaria.
It is the first venue in Bulgaria to have Tannoy's new VQ Series loudspeakers installed, in the shape of a pair of VQ 100 enclosures, coupled with a pair of the company's new VS 218DR subwoofers.
Designed and installed by Sofia-based A/V specialists Bulcomp, the club's sound system also consists of some of Tannoy's successful V-Series loudspeakers (a pair of V6s and pair of V12s) providing fills where necessary, all powered by three Lab.gruppen C-Series amplifiers and controlled by a pair of Tannoy VNET SC1 digital network controllers.
Bulcomp's sales manager, Peter Ivanov comments: "The general feeling from both DJ's and patrons is that the sound is very clear and exceptionally transparent, perfectly suited both for live performance or for DJ sets. Even with relatively few speakers, the sound is extremely loud, something the club owner was keen to achieve with minimal impact on the carefully designed interior style."
