News of Cadac's troubles emerged in June, with the announcement - premature as it turned out - that the company had been placed into administration, following an unexpected fall-off in anticipated sales of the company's analogue products. However, shortly after, a new finance package was agreed with the bank and a new business plan drawn up before the administration papers were filed - as revealed by Audio File in Lighting&Sound International's July-August 2008 issue.
This final confirmation of its entry into administration draws a line under Cadac's 40-year history as a distinguished leader in high-end analogue sound.
