Germany / Bulgaria - German amplifier manufacturer Camco has appointed a new agent in Bulgaria, and is already delivering its first orders under the distribution agreement. Based in Sofia, THC Ltd is one of the biggest professional sound rental companies in Eastern Europe, with the ability to handle outdoor shows for up to 50,000 people. As well as being distributor for Coemar and SGM, THC also designs its own PA systems, which have been used by many international artists touring in Bulgaria, and has a substantial track record in audio installations in all types of public places.

THC itself is already using Camco's Vortex 6 amplifiers as part of its rental inventory, and, within weeks of its appointment as distributor for the line, has sold its first units to another rental company Sound Max. "Like us, they appreciate the light weight of the amps," says Radolina Krasteva of THC, "and we all feel that the Camco brand is one of the market leaders, combining innovation with real power in a variety of multifunctional designs."

Camco has also announced a new distribution agreement in Egypt, with well-established sales and installation company Technology K.A.R. Based in Giza, near Cairo, K.A.R. is celebrating its 10th anniversary as a supplier of pro audio equipment on behalf of European and American companies to the Egyptian rental sector and many government and corporate clients. K.A.R has already taken delivery of its first order, Vortex 6 models and Tecton 24.4. and 22.2, which are destined for sound rental companies in Egypt, and the live performance stage.
