UK - CGA Integration has completed enhancement of Great Fosters renowned Oak room restaurant with dining audio. Gracing an estate of more than fifty acres in what was once the heart of Royal Windsor Forest in Surrey, Great Fosters hotel is a Grade One listed building, combining 16th century grandeur and luxurious modern facilities.

The Oak room at Great Fosters is a prestige dining venue, which prides itself on personal service, quality of finish, attention to detail and inspired gourmet food, for which background classical and light jazz audio was required. A secondary but important function of the sound track was to achieve audio masking of occasional intrusive noises, preserving the exclusivity of the dining experience.

Coming to the project fresh from the Dorchester Crystal Bar installation and through contacts at Le Manoir, CGA Integration were ideally suited to respond to the challenges of a Grade One listed building, requirement for crystal sound quality, invisible installation and a very slim installation window.

The solution to the requirement for discreet audio for prestige dining was for custom finish EV speakers and Cloud amps. Streamlined breakout controls enable simple staff adjustment while retaining consistently impressive sound quality. The playlist was determined after consultation with restaurant management to ensure that the selection matched the intended mood and complimented the contribution of excellence in cuisine, décor and service.

CGA Integration delivered the installation well within the short time available. Challenges including threading cable runs invisibly through the open oak beam roof and complex infrastructure were efficiently hurdled, leaving the Oak room ready for business early and with no signs of the work completed.

Chris Gunton, CGA Integration managing director comments, "This is exactly what we do best, working closely with the client to ensure that what we specify will do the job and then complete installation with minimum disruption. It is crucial to get these right when dealing with any venue, but Great Fosters is a particularly prestigious venue and we work hard to get our solution spot on every time."

Richard Young, Great Fosters general manager adds, "It's a complete change and sounds impressive. The installation is neat and efficient and we are looking forward to this improvement."
