The COLORdash Accent family features seven high-power, 1-watt LEDs. Their cast aluminum housing helps dissipate heat. Its compact size, measuring 174 mm x 108 mm and weighing 0.6 kg, makes them discreet enough to be mounted almost anywhere or fit any decor, says the company. The fixtures' on-board dipswitches are capable of static colour and built-in programmes or they can use DMX control.
Chauvet will also showcase their road-ready Legend series of moving yokes which feature Philips FastFit and MiniFastFit lamps and a modular construction for accessible maintenance and service.
"Our European customer base knows us for our product line in the Club and DJ markets," says CEO, Albert Chauvet. "We built our strong reputation on this line, but we're grabbing hold of the production market as well. The Legend and COLOR dash Accent series are great examples from this product line for production and touring."
Chauvet opened a full-service sales and support office in the UK in March of 2010. The branch has its own warehouse of inventory, sales team and technical service team. It's stocked with the latest products, focusing on three categories: lighting for the DJ and Club market, production lighting for stage, theatre and touring, and architectural lighting.
