USA - Aviom Inc a leader in personal monitor mixing technology, has enabled Houston-based church Fellowship of the Woodlands to improve its efficiency and sound quality through the installation of Aviom's personal monitor mixing system.

Harold Rubens, the church's director of audio, says that the Aviom equipment has helped reinforce the church's sound integrity and ability in delivering a true worship experience for its 14,000 parishioners.

"Converting 16 channels of audio and transmitting them through a Cat-5 cable directly to the band produces a much clearer and defined sound for the musicians, who can then adjust their mixes as they see fit," Rubens explained. "This helps them keep on key and in sync - a combination that results in a performance that effectively captivates, moves and inspires."

No longer having to devote extra time and energy in creating customised monitor mixes for each member of the church's nine-piece band, engineers have received great relief through the new Aviom personal monitor mixing system, which consists of an AN-16i input module, AN-16D Pro 1x8 A-Net Hub and the signature blue A-16II personal mixers.

To maximise sound quality and efficiency, Fellowship of the Woodlands has installed a total of 17 Aviom personal mixers. Nine of the mixers are housed at its main auditorium while the other eight are used for its "Venues" showcase of remote worship services with visiting praise teams that transport performances and messages over high definition video.

"Aviom's Pro 16 system is the epitome of convenience," adds Rubens. "Its programming ability cuts time spent on rehearsals and soundchecks. It also provides great control over stage volume by eliminating 'sound wars' on stage."

Aviom is a leader of personal monitor mixing technology with the Pro16 Series, as well as the developer of the Pro64 Series of audio networking products. All Aviom products are powered by A-Net, the company's high-speed digital audio transmission protocol. Aviom products are used in a variety of different environments, including live sound reinforcement, audio recording studios, houses of worship, theatre, broadcasting and post-production facilities and a host of commercial installations. Aviom's entire line of audio products are designed and manufactured in the USA.
