This year, an inauguration party was held in grand style for the Eistraum's 20th anniversary. One grandMA2 light and three MA 4Port Nodes were used to control 40 moving lights, including Clay Paky B-EYE K20s. Christian Weisskircher was the show designer and Jürgen Erntl was in charge of programming and setting up the lights.
Jürgen Erntl said, "We needed high performance lights for the inauguration, which were able to produce spectacular effects, even where there was back-lighting, without the use of fog or haze. The Clay Paky B-EYEs were perfect for this. In general, what mattered was to illuminate the ice rink and create a magical effect for visitors.
"During the entire event, over three hundred LED par outdoor lights, twenty LED spotlights and forty LED moving heads with zooms were used. A grandMA2 light and MA 4Port Nodes have been used to manage the lighting ever since the second year and the whole show is programmed into the desk. "
The following companies were involved in the project: EJ-Lighting, Seefestspiele Mörbisch, redline Enterprise GmbH and Preview Vienna.
