CORE Lighting at Sky Garden (© Sky Garden)
UK - Following recent purchases by industry-recognised rental companies, the versatility and usability of CORE Lighting's products means that they are now being utilised more than ever before. As CORE's exclusive European supplier, White Light is able to offer their full range of wireless battery products to production companies and rental partners as well as conference centres and venues.

WL stocks a full range of high-quality CORE products, all of which are available for purchase. Amongst these is the ColourPoint, of which more than 5,000 units have now been shipped worldwide. The ColourPoint is a lightweight, lithium battery-powered LED event uplight which uses the latest Wireless DMX Control.

Phil Ion, founder of CORE, comments, "What's great about the ColourPoint is its versatility. It is ideal for outdoor use and can be used for lighting up trees, three storey buildings or powerful wall-washing. Every occasion should have the best lighting possible, regardless of where it is situated, and we believe this is something that the ColourPoint can achieve."

Earlier this year, CORE introduced the StripPoint, a battery-powered LED batten. Lasting up to eight hours, the unit features 18 RGBW LEDs that can be pixel-mapped and emits an impressive 4,000 lumens while drawing only 75W of power. WL made the first sale to an events company who immediately used them in one of the biggest arenas in the UK.

Jonathan Haynes, WL's business development manager, comments, "The events industry is so fast-paced, with companies having to rely heavily on the technology they are using. To stay ahead of the game, it is vital they use state-of-the-art equipment to ensure that they deliver the best events possible for their clients. By owning products such as the StripPoint, which also has a number of pre-programmed effects, along with a low carbon footprint, they are able to do this."

Over the past few months, CORE products have been used on some extremely prolific events. These include the British Fashion Awards, the U.N Day at Central Hall Westminster, the Venue Hire Launch at the National Gallery along with the final ever corporate event held at the Royal Courts of Justice. This follows a recent sale of CORE ColourPoints to rhubarb, the company who manage Sky Garden: a unique bar and restaurant space offering views all across London. PB Jacobse, Managing Director of rhubarb, states: "The lights look incredible and have created the exact atmosphere which we were striving for. Not only that but their versatility means they can be moved around the space and used as and when appropriate."
