Emily Walker
UK - Former European sales manager at City Theatrical, Alex Cowan, has taken up a new post in the sales department at staging equipment, set construction and studio hire company LS-Live, in Wakefield.

He brings to the role a wealth of experience in sales and new business development, having secured big wins in previous posts for a variety of entertainment industry companies such as HSL Group, Pixelrange and City Theatrical.

Said Cowan, "I visited LS-Live to discuss business and couldn't believe this top of the range facility. I've been all over the world and there is nothing else like this out there.

"As soon as people understand that they can get everything from under one roof, from set design to final construction and rehearsals in the studio, they won't use anyone else.

"My job is to ensure that when anyone thinks about touring and live events, whether they're in the rock 'n' roll market, television, theatre, corporate or experiential, they think about LS-Live first."

Emily Walker has joined LS-Live as studio sales co-ordinator to focus on promoting the production rehearsal arena to concert touring, television, film and event planning clients, whilst assisting with the day-to-day running of the Studio.

Emily is a former ski instructor and student of Wakefield Girls High School. She was interested in Backstage Academy's FdA Live Events Production, but during her tour of the facility began conversations with LS-Live's Ben Brooks regarding a sales role at the company and joined the company just before Christmas.
