We've known for a long time how important the creative industries are to the wider economy, and we're delighted to see that success recognised, but now we have to ensure that our training methods are able to sustain that success long term.
"Our campaign Building a Creative Nation, which we launched in November, aims to get more employers working with the education sector, taking on young people into vocational training roles such as apprenticeships. As the pinnacle of this campaign, our Annual Conference is an opportunity to reinforce the call for improvements to recruitment and training in in the creative sector, as well as celebrate its considerable successes as a world leader."
