Helen Badger - commercial business development manager
UK - Crestron has announced a new appointment to its growing team. Helen Badger has been appointed as commercial business development manager, concentrating her efforts on growing Crestron's business within the commercial market.

"The Commercial market is a significant part of Crestron's activities." Says Phil Breitschadel, UK sales manager at Crestron. "It is important for us to maintain our involvement in this sector and continue to grow and develop it, which is why I am really looking forward to Helen joining the Crestron team. Helen's new role will ensure that we continue to advance in this area and with her past experience and knowledge of the AV industry, it will put her in good stead to meet our commercial business objectives."

Says Badger, "I am delighted to be joining the company as I've sold Crestron products in previous roles, and also included the company's technology, RoomView, when I was working with contract manufacturers. I have massive admiration for the developments and innovation Crestron display. With my experience in business, marketing and technology it is a fantastic opportunity to be working with such a leading company, communicating to the market how they can benefit from the technological advancements that Crestron can offer."

Badger will be based at Crestron's Cobham office. Located in Surrey, the space is soon to have a new 'Design and Experience Centre' installed, that will feature the latest DigitalMedia solutions, Fusion energy management software, the latest mobile and single-gang control interfaces and much more. Plans for the site also include regular CEDIA accredited training courses, interdisciplinary workshops, networking events, dedicated consultant summits and, later this summer, the Crestron Residential Integration Awards presentation.

Also joining Crestron - in the role of commercial sales manager - is Craig Story. Before joining Crestron, Storey worked as project manager at Impact where he looked after the Deutschebank account and previous to that with Focus 21, starting as a senior service engineer, then moving on to account manager.
