Gineke van Urk, general manager of Iemke Roos Audio, commented: "The route the Harman Pro Group, to which Crown belongs, is taking, is not in line with the character of Iemke Roos. It is partially our decision to go our own way. It is with regret that we say goodbye to Crown after so many years, but it is the best decision for both parties. Besides this, Iemke Roos has acquired some very good alternatives in the product range."
The transfer of distribution is effective from 14 October 2002. Iemke Roos Audio will continue to be responsible for Crown service until 30 June 2003.
