D.A.S. Audio has a new German office: a 100% subsidiary of the Spanish parent, D.A.S. Audio Deutschland GmbH will target the installation and pro touring markets. "We used to be more focussed on MI," said Lothar Weimann of the German office, "that market is now too competitive, particularly the Chinese influence, and we don't want to get into that struggle." As such the new Reference Series provides 10 speaker models for the installation market, "primarily these speakers are for schools, theatres and conference work."D.A.S. also featured the Aero38 line array, a medium size PA full range three-way cabinet housing 2x12", 2x10" and 1x1.5", providing standard 90° dispersion. The Aero38 is aimed up to the 3,000-seat venue market, and is supported by single and double 18" sub-bass cabinets.
