The MAX2 stage monitor
UK - d&b audiotechnik has announced its return to PLASA Focus Leeds for 2015. Taking place from 12-13 May at the Royal Armouries, the upcoming show follows a very successful Prolight+Sound for d&b. The company introduced three new products: the D20 amplifier, the MAX2 stage monitor and ArrayProcessing, a significant software update within ArrayCalc V8.

At stand NA-24 in the New Dock Hall this trio of products will make their UK debut.

ArrayProcessing is a new, optional, feature for optimizing the tonal and level balance of d&b J, V and Y-Series line array systems across an entire listening area, significantly improving the consistency of performance.

The D20 joins the D80 as part of the four channel, 2RU amplifier family. It features intuitive user interfaces and fast, responsive remote control and monitoring via Ethernet, through the OCA protocol.

The MAX2 is a flexible 15" stage monitor, which can be pole mounted on a d&b subwoofer and used as a small, full range system.

On Wednesday 13 May, from 1:30pm - 2:30pm Oran Burns from the d&b audiotechnik GB Education and Application Support Team will present Your bottom end; careful where you put it, at the Bury Theatre. Through experiments and practical demonstrations, Burns will explore methods that can be utilized to distribute low frequencies evenly over an audience, whilst minimizing unwanted energy elsewhere. This seminar is for AV technicians and anyone specializing in audio, whether it be purchasing, designing or engineering.

"PLASA Focus Leeds is a significant regional show for our GB office," says Gianni Abruzzese, d&b GB commercial manager. "It gives us direct contact to existing and potential customers. The d&b stand will be supported by members of the GB office who will be on hand to welcome and demonstrate throughout the show."
