Damon Crisp.
UK - After a decade with Numark, where he set up the UK operation as managing director, Damon Crisp has left to take up a similar position with German-based Monacor International's UK subsidiary.

The Monacor portfolio encompasses a vast range of entertainment technology, from in-car audio to CCTV, lighting, a stage line, consumer hi-fi, professional sound reinforcement and equipment for the MI and DJ markets.

Said Damon Crisp, who had joined DJ equipment giants Numark after 10 years handling pro sales for Lamba plc: "Having set up Numark UK, and latterly operated as sales director across the whole Numark Alesis group, I was ready for a new challenge.

"Monacor is a vast and highly ambitious company whose present MD in the UK has been forced to retire through ill health. I had been talking to the company since the early part of this year, and with nearly 5000 product lines in its catalogue, this presents a huge opportunity to steer the ship into new areas."

Based at the company's 8,500sq.ft facility in Newport Pagnell, which was set up in 1991, Damon Crisp takes up his new position on 1 November.
