Dataton and Pro Lab staff at the Dataton Academy training session in Dubai
UAE - Dataton has announced the appointment of Pro Lab LLC as its premium partner serving UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman. The Dubai-based distributor will be responsible for sales, support and marketing of the Dataton product range, including the company's award-winning multi-display system, WATCHOUT.

"We decided to add Dataton to our professional package of audio, visual and lighting products due to the rapid demand for visual technologies in the local market," said Pro Lab managing director, Joe Chidiac. "Dataton is a renowned brand and WATCHOUT is the leader in its field. We are delighted to bring such a premium solution to the region."

"We're very happy to have Pro Lab on board to serve this innovative and expansive region. With their broad inventory of high-quality, complementary brands, great reputation and sheer enthusiasm for our product, we see an extremely bright future ahead," said Trond Solvold, sales manager, Dataton. "This cooperation is, of course, strategically important in the run-up to Expo 2020 in Dubai. Based on our vast experience of this kind of global event, we know our technology will be in great demand and we are pleased to be able to offer local support to the many pavilions that will be using WATCHOUT."

The new partnership got off to a flying start with a free two-day training event for customers in September. Hosted by Pro Lab at their demo facility in Dubai, the Dataton Academy is a training initiative led by Dataton product specialists and held at venues around the world. Around 80 participants from the region attended the Dubai edition of the Academy, all keen to find out more about the WATCHOUT system and its applications.

"The Dataton Academy is a great way to raise awareness and we were thrilled by the fantastic response in Dubai," said Trond Solvold. The fall schedule for the Dataton Academy includes certified training sessions in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia, as well as France and Poland.
