Martin Capp, dBTechnologies and Shelly Xiao, Sharp Dragon plus award
China - Acoustic specialist dBTechnologies beat rival import brands to pick up a trophy at the National Sound and Light Awards in China last month.

Area sales manager for dBTechnologies in the Asian Pacific region, Martin Capp accepted the award at the event hosted by HC INTL, and commends the work of the Chinese distributor. "The enormous marketing and sales effort put in by Sharp Dragon since 2008 has been instrumental in dBTechnologies winning this award. Gaining solid recognition in the Chinese market during this relatively short period is to be applauded."

Shelly Xiao, general manager of Sharp Dragon added, "It is a great honour to win this award and I thank HC INTL for this chance to compete. This encourages us to develop the brands we represent further, giving our customers the best of support."

Fast becoming a 'must-attend' event on the Chinese pro audio and lighting calendar, the function at the Oriental hotel, Guangzhou attracted many leading lights of this industry in the region. Professional rivalry was also heightened during the four month voting and selection period, further adding to the significance of the outcome.

"Winning this award is a clear indication from the Chinese professional audio sector that dBTechnologies is now a recognised player in the market," says Capp. "It is set to compete at the highest pro sound level with a future as one of the audio brand leaders in the Chinese market."
