Dubkovs explained his preference for MA control solutions: "I've been working with many lighting boards and brand names, but for the last seven years we've been mainly using MA equipment. This is because MA products are very reliable and offer a handy and user-friendly environment. My favourite two things are the timecode function and the macro programming as well as being able to set up your own working environment (playback, screens and other stuff).
"For my staff, the networking system configuration is extremely straightforward, and the system is also absolutely stable. Each console has benefits, but the grandMA2 has them all in one. With a bit of knowledge and experience, absolutely everything is possible! There are no limits and no unavailable instruments for work during any show - large or small. Imagination is the only potential limiting factor."
